Chorley Mark Masons at the Whitehall Service of Remembrance

Whilst many West Lancashire Mark Masons were attending their local Cenotaph to take part in the act of Remembrance on Sunday 13th November, in London for a weekend break were a party from Chorley which included three members of New Temple Mark Lodge and a member of Lawrence Mark Lodge who on Sunday morning attended the Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, taking with them a Wreath provided by the West Lancs Mark Province.

After witnessing the Remembrance Service and the march past by the Veterans, the public were allowed to view the Cenotaph, with the help of a friendly Policeman a Wreath was laid by V.W.Bro. Paul Snape and W.Bro. John Bicknell, also in the party was W.Bro. Allan Newman and Bro. Steve Grand.

Everyone present found the occasion to be a very moving ceremony.
